Some Of The Initiatives Funded By The LMS PTA
A Dedicated Mental Health Resource
From 2022 the LMS PTA has funded a dedicated counsellor, through Place2Be who is based at the school three days a week. The costs are a core focus of the the LMS fundraising activities throughout the year.

A New Library For LMS
In 2019 and 2020, the PTA raised £20,000 for the development and modernisation of the school library.

Smart White Boards And Cameras For Online Teaching
At the beginning of the pandemic the school had an urgent requirement to improve its online teaching capabilities. The PTA responded to this challenge and raised £6,000 to pay for a number of web cameras. Further to this the PTA has committed £25,000 to fund and install 7 Smart Screens for the science labs prior to September 2023.
The Centenary Garden
Between 2016 and the school centenary in 2017 a programme was undertaken to create the LMS Centenary garden with the intention of making a space that was better suited to the growing needs of the school. The LMS raised funds to repay the cost of the £180,000 project between 2017 and 2022.

Inviting Guest Speakers
Lady Margaret school has welcomed many guest speakers to share their experience, knowledge and expertise to help guide pupils, parents & guardians and staff.
Teacher Bids
Now discontinued, the bids were requests raised by the LMS community of staff and parents to raise funds for a variety of items.
